Music Theory Lessons - Singing Lessons for ages 5yo - adult.Singing Styles - Pop, Funk, JazzAlso provides lessons for Music Theory, Songwriting and Production.I would love to chat with you about your music goals and how we can make it happen. I really enjoying giving students a solid grounding in technique and musical understanding, whilst working on the songs you actually enjoy singing! With listeners often describing his sound as, "rich, soulful and warm", vocalist Alex O'Meally has quickly become a sought after emerging artist in the Brisbane music scene. His love of performing was incited by an opportunity to sing on the world stage for the 2015 ANZAC Centenary Dawn Service (Gallipoli, Turkey) and later that year returning to Istanbul for the world premier of the Gallipoli Symphony (Hagia Irene, Turkey).Alex embraces every opportunity to perform in a wide array of settings and has been a member of the jazz vocal ensemble InVoices, under the skilful direction of Dave Spicer, for three years. He performs regularly at The Brisbane Jazz Club, the Retro Bar, Queen St Mall and private events. In addition to this, he now co-runs a weekly jam out of the Junk Bar in Ashgrove, dealing with the live production as well as performing on stage.Under the expert guidance of Dr Irene Bartlett, master pedagog and industry veteran, he honed his craft and developed his sound. Furthermore, he has worked with other critically-acclaimed artists such as Elly Hoyt, Kristin Beradi, Zac Bradford, Ingrid James and Jack Cooper. Alex is passionate about arranging and composing music and is currently working towards the release of his first EP.Alex's style is a mix of pop, funk and jazz, with complex and interesting combinations of chords and soulful vocals. Do you need help taking your vocals, music theory, songwriting or production to the next level?
