About

  • Male

  • Teaching since 2015

  • Teaches students aged 14+

I am an experienced guitar player specialising in teaching beginners, or intermediate players, rock and blues guitar for steel-string or electric guitar. I am also able to help more experienced guitarists who want to improve their knowledge of chords, scales and soloing.

I am a graduate of the Musician's Institute of Technology in Hollywood, Los Angeles (1996) and have 30 years of band-playing and teaching experience since then.

I enjoy watching my students learn new techniques and being able to progress step by step to achieve their goals. I believe a knowledge of music theory as it applies to the guitar is essential to a student's success and understanding of the instrument.
