By the end of each lesson you will be able to play something new and your confidence and enjoyment will increase as you see your progress and can play the music you want to create. Starting from comfort and adding incrementally means the process can be enjoyable and subconscious while also being well-founded and consistent.
The 48 and 60 minute durations refer to an alternate model for students who cannot or do not wish to commit to a regular lesson every week. The student can upload recordings for personalised review and feedback:
Basic Plan: $10 per week

* Up to 5 minutes of recorded student video per week (max 2 videos)

* Bonus: Optional 15-minute live lesson every three months

* Up to 12 minutes of recorded student video feedback per week (max 4 videos)
* Personalised comprehensive guidance in the form of written guidance and video demonstrations
* Bonus: Optional 20-minute live lesson every three months
Comprehensive Plan: $30 per week
Designed for dedicated students aiming for consistent progress
* Up to 15 minutes of recorded student video per week (max 5 videos)

You can play music right away. Confidence, competence, become a musician. This doesn't mean completely bypassing the fundamentals. It means using the fundamentals to play and to create music. From the first lesson! Progress doesn't have to be slow, you can play the songs that you want to play and focus on the areas that are important to you, be it reading music, playing for friends, understanding music theory or simply just feeling confident and comfortable to play with enjoyment and not just with concentration. I have completed AMEB exams to a Grade 8 level and have helped many students over the last 20 years play more than they thought they ever would, including students with significant special needs, and they have enjoyed the journey along the way!
