Music Theory Lessons
For theory lessons, I always start with a warm up excerise where my student is set to work on a fun exercise that recaps what we touched on the week before to keep their brains refreshed. I then go into anything the student needs to work on or I provide worksheets and examples they can work on and planned lessons if they need specified help. At the end of the lesson I will work through a few harder questions with them to expand their knowledge and will give them some worksheets they can work on throughout the week if needed. During the holidays I will create a work booklet that they can work on that recaps everything we have touched on through the term/semester.

I am studying a Bachelor of Music at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music where I have accumulated many theoretical and performance skills. I received a high band 6 in my Music 1 HSC and received the top of my class in theory. I was Choir Captain at my senior school where I ran a choir of over 100 students from Years 7-12 where I chose repertoire, ran vocal warm ups, and mentored students privately. I have consistently mentored High School years in music theory and performance where I tutored them in vocal practice and music exams. I was the choir captain at my school and received the award for highest commitment to the Arts.
I have been performing and learning under industry professionals since the age of 5, and I have participated in many vocal competitions where I was awarded 1st place. I have worked professionally in classical and musical theatre singing where I have accumulated a variety of vocal and performance techniques.
I believe that there are many different ways to teach one aspect of music, and that every student learns differently. I strive to find a solidified method for each of my students and aim to do this through my years of vocal and theory training in which I can provide an array of ideas and practices. I aim to be a fun, empathetic and hard working teacher and attempt to bring this for each and every one of my students.
