Music Theory Lessons
Music theory explains the "how and why" of music and is an important part of learning a musical instrument.
All ages and abilities are welcome from total beginners to those who want to brush up on their skills. Maybe you have learnt an instrument by ear but would like to read music, or maybe you are a beginner and would like to know more of the theory behind reading and writing music. I cater for all types of students and their learning needs.
Exams can be done through me via the Australian Music Examination Board if required. I also teach piano. Free membership with Piano Maestro and Supersonics Plus is offered free of charge to my students.

I am a piano teacher from Noosa Heads in Queensland, Australia and have been teaching the piano for approximately eighteen years. I hold an "Associate Teacher of Music" and have taught many students in this time from four year-olds to eighty year-olds. I am a member of the Music Teachers’ Association Sunshine Coast Group and I am a passionate teacher who loves to learn new and innovative ideas and methods of teaching.
In my spare time, I can be found out in the garden, walking my dog or surfing the beautiful beaches in the area.
For online lessons, all that is needed is a good internet connection and a tablet, laptop or computer. Students can come from anywhere in Australia.
Once enrolled for lessons, students have access to Piano Maestro and Supersonics.
