Improvisation Lessons
I teach jazz improvisation, focusing on the fundamentals of melody, harmony, and rhythm. Drawing from my knowledge of Bebop and the teachings of Barry Harris, I help students develop a strong foundation in jazz vocabulary and phrasing. Lessons are tailored to each student's needs and goals, whether they're looking to master classic jazz standards or develop their own improvisational style.

Focusing on the fundamental aspects of musicianship, and pedagogy, I’ll teach students the information relevant to their skill level, ambitions and needs. My lessons offer a nurturing, and guiding, look through a wide range of styles, theory and practice material all to improve bass playing and general musicianship. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance from the Jazz Music Institute.
