Aural Skills Lessons
Aural skills are a fantastic asset to any musician and with guidance they can be picked up my anyone.
One of the most difficult parts of the VCE music performance exam is the aural recognition, but with proper training it is very achievable for any student to get a high mark. Students will learn to recognise complex rhythms and melodies without even needing to touch an instrument, a truly impressive and useful skill to develop.

Jack is a bassist, composer and arranger based in Melbourne. With over 10 years experience on the bass, Jack is a very capable teacher. He is currently studying at VCA and is an actively gigging musician. Jack has a passion for teaching and will make your education and enjoyment on your instrument a priority.
Jack will adapt his teaching style for every student as no student is the same. He will ensure that the student gets to play the music they love, while using that music to teach the important technical and theoretical aspects of the instrument.
