Drums Lessons
The study of drum-kit revolves around the snare drum as the foundation instrument and expands to include the whole drum-kit. The fundamentals covered include drum rudiments, reading, kit rhythms and fills. There will be recommended books as needed and an emphasis on playing to recorded music and developing ones own style.

I approach percussion pedagogy from initially the snare drum as the basic instrument, leading to tuned percussion and other hand percussion. I deal with the fundamentals which require regular daily practice. However, I can develop a program of lessons to suit your personal needs and interests, from learning to play for fun to undertaking accredited examinations like AMEB or preparing for tertiary entrance.
