Flute Lessons
Musical success is defined differently for every student. That's why I pride myself on delivering a teaching style that is flexible and responsive to the personal needs and goals of my students. Whether you're a beginner, play just for fun or aspire to be the next flute virtuoso, I can deliver a customised approach to learning that is engaging, rewarding and goal aligned.
I offer one-on-one flute lessons in the styles of classical, contemporary or jazz.

I am a very patient, experienced and qualified flute teacher of 30 years. I have been on staff at Abbotsleigh Girls School N.S.W. for 10 years as a flute teacher teaching across both the Junior and Senior Schools. Furthermore, I was on staff at Southern Cross Catholic College, Scarborough, Queensland for 8 years as Woodwind Specialist and was Instrumental Coordinator for 4 of those years overseeing 5 campuses for the College. I have had my own private teaching studio for 15 years and taught at a number of other schools throughout N.S.W. I have performed with the Sydney Flute Choir, Tasmanian Conservatorium Orchestra and numerous chamber groups, weddings etc.
I am a very passionate teacher with much experience with students from age 6 through to adult. I tailor my lessons according to each individual’s need and am happy to prepare students for examinations if wanted or just teach them to play for their own enjoyment. I have much experience preparing students for A.M.E.B. or Trinity College examinations and eisteddfods, for which I have gained exemplary results.
