Guitar Lessons
Whether you’re a complete beginner, an intermediate player looking to break through a plateau, or an advanced guitarist aiming to refine your skills, lessons are tailored entirely to your goals. Together we’ll build a clear roadmap based on what you want to achieve, whether that’s learning your favourite songs, improving technique, developing improvisation skills, understanding music theory, songwriting, performance preparation, or working towards a professional music career.
Lessons are delivered online via Zoom using a professional high-quality setup, including a direct guitar audio feed, studio-quality microphone, high-speed internet connection, and multiple camera angles when needed. This provides clear audio and video, allowing you to see and hear every detail as if we were in the same room. Lessons can also be recorded, giving you the opportunity to revisit key concepts and practice effectively between sessions.
Students receive access to professionally prepared learning materials, including sheet music, tablature, backing tracks, exercises, practice plans, and personalised lesson notes. Every lesson is structured to provide a balance of progress, challenge, and enjoyment, ensuring you always know what to work on and why.
Drawing from years of experience performing across the UK and Europe, appearing on television, recording in professional studios, teaching hundreds of students, and working as a full-time musician, I provide practical, real-world guidance that goes beyond simply learning songs. My goal is to help you become a confident, capable musician while keeping lessons engaging, motivating, and relevant to your personal musical ambitions.
Styles taught include rock, pop, blues, indie, acoustic, fingerstyle, funk, alternative, singer-songwriter, and contemporary commercial music, with lessons adapted to suit your musical tastes and aspirations.

Hi, I’m Callum, a professional guitarist, performer, and educator based in Melbourne. I’ve spent my career performing across the UK and Europe, playing anything from large venues to crowds of thousands of people, festivals, high end corporate events, broadcast TV and nore . Alongside performing, teaching has always been one of the most rewarding parts of my musical journey. I hold a Music degree from the University of Sussex and have spent years helping students of all ages and abilities develop their skills, confidence, and enjoyment of music.
My approach to teaching is simple: every student is different. Whether you’re picking up a guitar for the first time, returning after years away from the instrument, or looking to take your playing to a professional level, lessons are tailored to your goals, interests, and lifestyle. Some students can dedicate hours each day to practice, while others have busy work and family commitments. I believe progress should fit around your life, not the other way around, so together we’ll create a realistic plan that keeps you motivated and moving forward.
Rather than teaching a one-size-fits-all curriculum, I focus on helping students discover what genuinely excites them about music. Whether that’s learning your favourite songs, improving your technique, understanding music theory, writing your own music, preparing for performances, or building a career in the industry, we’ll focus on the things that truly motivate you. In my experience, students make the fastest progress when they’re working towards goals that actually matter to them.
As both a working musician and teacher, I bring real-world experience into every lesson. My aim is not only to help you become a better guitarist but to build confidence, creativity, and a lifelong enjoyment of music. Lessons are relaxed, supportive, and structured around helping you achieve your goals while enjoying the process along the way.
