Hi my name is Anton,

I started enjoying music from a very young age (3 or 4 years old) due to both my parents being musicians. we always had and eclectic mix of music playing around the house, from Russian folk music to 70's Rock.

I originally started playing piano as a young kid as both my parents were pianists. I then moved onto Electric bass after discovering the Beatles and Queen.
After electric bass I became heavily infatuated with the double bass.

I attended blackburn high school, which at the time had an amazing music program (specifically big band). Through the Big Band program I got really into Jazz. I decided that it was what I wanted to study and pursue as a career.

From there I attended the James Morrison Academy of Music and obtained a Bachelors of music performance (specialising in jazz).


I now perform regularly around Melbourne's top music venues and teach privately.

Given my background I teach, Double bass, Electric bass and Piano.

I provide a week by week syllabus that can be tailored to any level of musicianship.

I believe that music should be open everyone and anyone regardless of age or experience.
