Vocal Training Lessons

Levels Taught: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced

I have been coaching many types of vocalists for 5 years, tailoring my instruction to students of all skill levels and musical backgrounds, with a strong emphasis on inclusivity. My training covers proper technique, vocal anatomy, basic music theory, and, most importantly, vocal maintenance and health. I aim to equip my students with the knowledge to grow as musicians and understand their unique musical needs. Every lesson is shaped by your personal goals, ensuring a rewarding and customised experience. Hence why I offer 3 different lesson lengths for adults: - Regular (50 mins) - Extended (75 min) - Specialised (90 min), and 2 lengths for children under the age of 13: - Regular Children (30 mins) - Extended Children (45 mins). Beyond vocal technique, I specialise in stage presence, songwriting and vocal arrangement, and developing your artistic persona. I also provide insight into the music industry, because every piece of the puzzle matters. My approach is holistic and fluid, focused on improving confidence—one of the most essential traits for any performer. I aim to help students develop a deep awareness of their voice by learning to interpret the signals their body provides. This awareness becomes a daily tool, allowing vocalists to push their limits safely and discover their full potential.

Australian-born and Barcelona-raised, I started singing as a toddle, trained by my mother: an internationally acclaimed Soprano with more than 25 years of experience performing in Operas and recitals all over the world. I, myself, have been professionally singing, screaming and everything in between now for over 10 years in various projects, and teaching now for 6 years. The most success I have had as a vocalist revolves around my current pride and joy, Future Static. I joined them in Feb 2021. Years of training, particularly in classical technique, became invaluable for vocal endurance and versatility in all genres. Today, Future Static has played major festivals like Sziget (Hungary), Radar (UK), Euroblast (Germany), and Unify (Australia) while touring alongside alternative and heavy icons like, Babymetal, Electric Callboy, Tesseract, Voyager, Don Broco and Jinjer. What I love about music the most is the way it brings us all together, it has the power to change lives. This is why teaching is so important to me - I take a lot of pride in helping people discover how to use their voices as a tool of self-expression and emotional communication, focussing on maintenance and longevity of the voice. Whether it's as a hobby or a lifetime career choice, everyone's journey is different yet equally important.

Amariah has been my teacher for about three years. She has taught me to do things with my voice I never thought possible and made singing so much more fun and my voice so much more powerful. She's a great teacher and I always feel safe and encouraged to try new things because I know with her help I'll get there and get better.

Amariah is an incredibly patient and knowledgeable teacher who brings out the best in her students. Since working with her, she has reignited my passion for singing and songwriting—something I hadn’t felt in years. Her ability to bridge technical skill with creative expression is unmatched; she not only explains complex vocal concepts clearly but demonstrates them in a way that instantly makes sense.

Whether it’s mastering the nuances of operatic vocals or perfecting the raw power behind aggressive screams, Amariah approaches every style with precision, care, and genuine enthusiasm. What stands out most is her intuitive understanding of how each student learns—she adapts her teaching to suit your voice and goals, making every session both challenging and inspiring.

Thanks to her guidance, I’ve developed greater control, confidence, and versatility as a vocalist, and I look forward to every lesson.

I have known my colleague Amariah for many years as a performer, composer, and vocal coach, and I continue to be impressed by her depth of skill and dedication. Having trained extensively in both classical and contemporary techniques, she brings an impressive versatility to her teaching. Amariah has become particularly sought after by singers working within alternative and heavy metal styles, though her expertise spans pop, musical theatre, and a broad range of modern genres.

I have attended several of her online masterclasses, and her knowledge of vocal technique, performance preparation, and vocal health is remarkable. She has a unique ability to tailor her approach to each student’s individual needs, guiding them with both technical acuity and real-world insight. Her first-hand experience as a touring and recording artist makes her advice exceptionally practical and relevant.

Amariah is also skilled as a singing instrumentalist, performing with guitar, bass, and double bass, and she draws on this experience to help her students develop coordination and stage presence. I highly recommend her as a teacher who gives everything to help her students expand their voices and reach their artistic potential.
