Piano Lessons
In my piano lessons, students can expect to develop a strong foundation in technique, musicality, and theory while exploring a variety of styles. I tailor each lesson to suit the individual student’s goals, whether that’s preparing for exams, learning classical repertoire, or exploring pop and contemporary music. I incorporate sight reading, accompaniment, and improvisation to make each lesson well-rounded and engaging.
I structure lessons to be both challenging and enjoyable, focusing on building confidence and helping students become independent musicians. My calm and patient approach creates a supportive environment where students feel comfortable to grow at their own pace. Whether you’re aiming for exams or learning for fun, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of music and develop a lifelong appreciation for the art.

Hi! I’m a friendly and dedicated piano teacher based in Perth with years of experience teaching students of all ages. I hold the Associate in Music, Australia (AMusA) from the Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB), and I completed the Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) in Music with a High Distinction. Whether you're a complete beginner or working towards exams, I’m here to help you grow as a confident, well-rounded musician.
In my lessons, I focus on more than just playing the notes—I help students develop strong technique, musical expression, and a solid understanding of theory. I also love exploring accompaniment and improvisation, and always try to keep things fun and engaging. Every student is different, so I tailor my teaching to suit each person’s goals and interests.
I’m calm, patient, and easy to talk to, and I believe learning music should be enjoyable and rewarding. Whether you want to prepare for exams or just play your favourite pieces, I’ll support you every step of the way and help you discover your own musical voice.
