Piano Lessons
In my teaching, I focus on building a strong and well-rounded musical foundation. Each lesson includes elements of note reading, aural training, and musicianship, helping students become confident, independent learners. I place great emphasis on piano technique and control, equipping students with the skills they need to play any genre with ease and freedom. Creativity is also nurtured through music writing and exploration, encouraging personal expression. To keep lessons engaging and avoid repetition, I rotate through different focus areas—such as rhythm work, listening, technique drills, and creative tasks—ensuring students stay motivated, challenged, and excited to learn.

I bring over 30 years of piano experience and a deep passion for helping students grow musically with confidence, skill, and joy. With a Bachelor of Music and a Postgraduate qualification in Education, I combine strong musical expertise with sound teaching principles to support learners at every stage.
Throughout my musical journey, I have participated in numerous piano competitions and concerts, gaining rich performance experience that I love to share with my students. One of my greatest joys is playing piano duets, and I often incorporate duet playing to build ensemble skills, rhythm, and musical connection.
My lessons focus on refining technical skills while encouraging each student’s individual expression and musical goals—whether that’s preparing for exams or simply playing for pleasure.
