I have been playing piano for 11 years and have experience in a variety of styles, from classical to contemporary. Learning from multiple teachers over the years has given me valuable insight into different teaching methods, allowing me to incorporate the most effective approaches into my lessons. I follow the AMEB (Australian Music Examinations Board) grades and books, providing students with a structured and recognised pathway for their learning and progression.

As a young teacher, I connect easily with beginner students, especially children, creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment. I believe that piano lessons should be both structured and engaging, helping students build a strong foundation while keeping them motivated. I tailor each lesson to suit their individual pace and learning style, focusing on essential skills like technique, rhythm, and note reading.

I strive to make learning an enjoyable and stress-free experience, breaking down complex concepts into simple, manageable steps. I also emphasize the importance of practice strategies that maximise progress while keeping students motivated. By following the AMEB curriculum, I ensure students have a clear structure to their learning while also allowing flexibility to explore music they enjoy. Above all, my aim is to inspire a lifelong love for music while helping students develop and improve.
