Experience counts. I have, over many years of private students, classroom teaching, conducting concert bands and ensemble groups, enabled students to find their full potential. My student-centered approach has enabled those who wish to purse AMEB to achieve high results or just play for pleasure.
As lead trumpet/cornet in the Royal Military College Duntroon I was privileged to perform to all levels of government and overseas dignitaries.
Music is my lifetime passion and occupation. I would love the opportunity to make it yours too.

I have know Ivan for many years and during this time he has fulfilled his duties to a high standard.

Ivan has successfully tutored students in individual and group lessons. He has also worked with schoolbands and other instrumental groups in preparation for, and participation in, a wide range of school performances, both within the school and also in the local community.

In working with his students, Ivan has established a strong rapport and has been able to successfully engage and enthuse them. He has shown high levels of musical skills and a capacity to successfully impart these skills on his students.

In recent days I have had to dissuade a delegation of his students from raising a petition against his departure, this is an appropriate testimony to his capacity to inspire the confidence of his students.
