Classical Voice Lessons
Students studying classical voice with me can expect a well-rounded, tailored approach that blends technical mastery with expressive artistry. I structure lessons around each student's individual goals and abilities, focusing on core vocal techniques such as breath control, tone production, articulation, and resonance. Alongside these foundational skills, we explore interpretation, phrasing, and the emotional depth that classical repertoire requires.
My teaching includes a variety of classical styles, from art songs and lieder to opera and sacred music, ensuring a diverse and enriching learning experience. Lessons are designed to help students not only develop their voice but also gain a deeper understanding of the music they perform, with an emphasis on musicality, diction, and performance skills.
With a supportive and encouraging environment, I aim to build confidence and foster a passion for classical music, guiding students on a journey that nurtures both their vocal technique and personal artistic expression. Whether you are new to classical voice or looking to refine your skills, my goal is to help you reach your fullest potential as a classical vocalist.

As a dedicated music educator with a lifelong passion for singing and teaching, I bring both a rich background and a deep commitment to helping students discover their own musical voices. My journey began at KM Music Conservatory in Chennai, where I earned a diploma under the guidance of Grammy winner A.R. Rahman. Currently, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Music at Monash University, continuing to grow and refine my craft. This strong foundation, coupled with my experience as a freelancing vocal coach, has shaped me into an adaptable and creative teacher who understands the nuances of music education.
In my lessons, I emphasize a student-centered approach that fosters exploration, creativity, and growth. I believe that each student is unique and my role is to guide them in finding their personal connection to music. Whether we are working on vocal technique or performance practice, I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel confident to express themselves and take risks. I incorporate a mix of traditional and contemporary methods, tailoring lessons to meet individual needs while ensuring a solid grounding in essential skills.
Beyond teaching, my holistic approach to life influences my philosophy in the classroom. I value mindfulness and balance, drawing from my personal interests in Pilates, yoga, and wellness to create a nurturing and enriching learning experience. Music is not just about technical skill, but about connecting with ourselves and the world around us. My goal is to inspire students to not only develop their musical abilities but also to grow as individuals, finding joy and purpose through their musical journeys.
