Levels Taught: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced

Students will learn a wide range of techniques and skills learning with me. I will structure lessons around firstly long tones, scales and then selected pieces, followed by theory practise. The main focus is classical music however jazz/ hip hop are optional.

I am Nicholas, 22 years old and have been playing the clarinet since I was 5 years old. Last year I finished my bachelors degree in music at the University of Melbourne and have also completed numerous AMEB exams.

I have a few years experience teaching young kids how to play the clarinet. My approach to teaching is to focus on the fundamentals of the clarinet and giving the children an understanding into the music they will be playing. To pin point these areas certain exercises and techniques and put into place to ensure the students learn the correct way and prolong playing the instrument.

I believe with a good teacher the any student can achieve great results.
