I hold a Bachelor of Music Performance and have over 25 years of experience as a professional pianist, composer, and teacher.
Lessons are tailored to each student's skill level and goals, from beginners learning to read music to advanced students preparing for piano exams or performances.
We focus on building a strong foundation in music theory while exploring the works of classical composers across various periods and styles.

Hello! I'm Greg.. With over 20 years teaching music, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a deep passion for helping students of all ages and skill levels develop their musical abilities and find joy in playing the piano.
As a teacher, I believe in the power of individualised lessons. I take the time to understand each student's unique goals, interests, and learning style, crafting lessons that are both engaging and challenging. Whether you're a complete beginner looking to learn the basics, or an experienced pianist wanting to dive into jazz improvisation or prepare for AMEB exams, I'm here to guide you on your musical journey.
In our lessons, we can a diverse range of musical styles, from classical to contemporary, jazz to musical theatre. I'm a firm believer in the importance of developing a strong foundation in music theory and technique, but I also know that music should be fun! I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment where students feel comfortable taking creative risks and expressing themselves through music.
