Drums Lessons
A more modern teaching of drums.
Beginner students can expect to learn the basics for multiple styles (funk, rock etc..), and put these into action in simple songs.
Once they’ve acquired these basic skills we will focus on more complex songs - some of the students choice and others off of suggestion.
For intermediates, we will focus on more complex rhythms and songs, as well as grades.

I’m Joe, a 17 year old drummer who’s been playing most days since I was around 7. I come from a family of musicians with pianists, saxophonists and guitarists for siblings but I’ve always been more interested in the rhythmic aspects of drumming.
I completed my grade 8 AMEB around a year ago now, and have been playing in various bands in and out of school and am just getting into teaching and sharing my knowledge and love for drumming with more people.
I like a lighthearted approach rather than a Terrence fletcher esque approach because ensuring and nurturing the love for the instrument is more important to me. After perfecting the basic rhythmic patterns I want to teach diverse styles to give a complete depiction of what drumming can be.
