Hello future drummer! I'm Matt and I'm passionate about teaching and playing drums. I'm from the beautiful Mornington Peninsula and have spent the past 9 years teaching drums in schools and music shops around the outer SE suburbs of Melbourne. I have a Cert IV in Training and Assessment with a focus on music teaching and a Diploma of Music.

I have been drumming for over 20 years and have experience playing in original and cover bands, but these days spend most of my time teaching up and coming drummers, which is a fantastic and rewarding experience. I also live-stream my drumming on Twitch.

I have a professional home studio set up with online lessons and live-streaming in mind, so if you are looking for lessons from the comfort and convenience of your own home, you've come to the right place. My lessons focus on practical outcomes while maintaining enjoyment, drums are supposed to be fun! My strengths as an educator include being able to simplify complex methods and concepts in simple, effective ways so that students of any age/ability can understand, as well as keeping things light, enjoyable and interesting.
