Flute Lessons
I strongly believe in personalised learning, so I tailor my lessons to each student depending on their goals and their current capabilities. Perhaps you one day want to play in an orchestra or attend music school - or maybe you want to learn how to play your favourite pop song on the flute. No goal is too big or too small! I do my best to provide my students with the tools they need to achieve their goals from now to well into the future. Whether you’re new to the flute, currently studying, or coming back after a break, we’ll work together as a team to help you achieve your personal flute-related goals.
I'm very familiar with the current flute AMEB and VCE syllabi and the demands of preparing for them, but would be happy to investigate alternate examination syllabi if a student would like to complete them. I also offer my students virtual recital nights, recording skills, and comprehensive resource lists for independent study.

Hi there! I’m Hannah, a Melbourne-based freelance flautist offering online flute lessons.
Inspired by her upbringing in the picturesque Dandenong Ranges of Melbourne, Hannah is a passionate flautist and animal lover exploring exciting intersections between music and nature. With a keen interest in the emerging field of zoomusicology, Hannah loves to explore nature-inspired sounds on various members of the flute family, including concert flute, piccolo, alto flute, ocarina, recorder, and tin whistles. She has performed on the flute for twelve years and is passionate about accessibility in music education, aiming to provide personalised learning and support to all her students.
