Music Therapy Lessons
This is a therapeutic experience for seniors, especially a person living with dementia. The music experiences are mostly for individuals. I will play the keyboard and sing songs. We will sing songs you know. I'm a passionate jazz player. I'll try to play a classical or modern tune/song you request. There may be some of you who danced at the 'Trocadero' where my parents met. There was always a piano in my house when I grew up. Many of you will relate to that. Some of you might have played the piano or still do. We could play a melody together. I could compose a melody for your words, thoughts or feelings.

Teaches students aged 5+
Hello. My name is Elisabeth. I play contemporary eg. jazz, and classical piano. I have taught piano and music privately to children and adults. I have prepared students for exams, and taught piano for leisure. I play in a jazz band. My strong passion is doing music therapy with the aged, especially people with dementia. I have experience implementing this in aged care, eg. playing the piano, leading singalongs, and doing individual activities focusing on a person's passions, skills and abilities.
I have an AMEB classical piano qualification, and have completed some music study at university.
