Singing Lessons
You will learn vocal technique that is applicable to your chosen style of music.
We will collaborate to uncover and discover the power and beauty of your singing voice.
Lessons are underpinned by an understanding of vocal anatomy and physiology as well as speech therapeutic principles.
Singing lessons include warm-ups and exercises as well as repertoire building (i.e. learning plenty of songs!). Theory and aural skills included in singing training.

I believe that learning vocal technique frees you to focus on musical expression, allowing you to give rise to the song in your heart.
I welcome all ages, ambitions, styles, genders, aspirations, and walks of life. My teaching experience spans over a decade and includes AMEB exam coaching, audition preparation, music theatre role coaching, concert preparation, and has seen me teach within small music schools, prep to VCE private schools, in my own private studio and contracted to council arts programs.
My background is classical singing and opera with a little dollop of early music, tango, musical theatre, and western swing. My passions in life are singing, food, community, animals (particularly dogs!) and learning.
I have a Master of Speech Pathology and a Bachelor of Music Performance from the University of Melbourne, an Associate in Music Performance (Voice) from the AMEB, as well as an Advanced Certificate in Music Performance from Box Hill College of TAFE. I am a certified practicing speech pathologist and an active voice performer.
