Aural Skills Lessons

Levels Taught: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced

For contemporary and classical students.

I will work proven techniques in augmenting your aural skills, especially to enhance your performance quality and success.

I used methods of "Progressive Repetition" to program your brain to learn to imitate what your hear and "Interval Training" to program your muscle memory to create more accurate singing.

We will do exercises in a strategic manner to grow these skills quickly and efficiently.

I work both live and zoom classes (I have been teaching online internationally for more 6 years).

Build up your confidence as I build you your aural skills.

Helen L. (Student)

I have learnt online from Michelle Marie for almost 18 months and only had 2 face to face sessions during that time. She is very professional, and capable, and I am amazed at how she can hear all the nuances in my voice online. Our lessons are very effective and I enjoy not having to travel far to grow my skills.
During lessons we do technical work and repertoire (art song & opera). Occasionally I use an accompaniment track to support my performance. I really enjoy the intellectual stimulation of my lessons. Michelle is encouraging, focused and very knowledgeable about technique and performance at the highest levels. She gives direct, accurate and helpful feedback. I always achieve more than I thought I could by the end of each lesson. I highly recommend her as a voice teacher.
