Whether you or a loved one are interested in learning how to play some favourite songs, jamming or composing within a particular music style or diving deep into music theory jargon, I can help make that a reality.
My students receive personalised resources, created by me, to assist with learning and practicing outside of lessons. These resources include song charts, notated technique exercises, audio recordings, and short tutorial videos.

My approach to teaching is greatly guided by my students' goals, needs and personalities. Most importantly, the core value of my teaching approach is to engage students and encourage them to discover the joy of learning, practicing and playing music.
I provide comprehensive training in instrumental technique and music theory, specialising in guitar, bass and ukulele, and up to intermediate keyboard/piano. Learning how to practice effectively is one of the keys to success as a musician, and I provide ongoing support to my students in making effective practice a part of their weekly routine.
I am a graduate of Box Hill Institute with a Bachelor of Applied Music and I am currently completing my Master of Teaching at Deakin University.
I teach individuals across all skill and knowledge levels and I adapt my curriculum to your or your child's aspirations and needs, including those within the neurodiverse community.
I am skilled in performing and teaching a wide range of music styles, and I have over 10 years experience as a music educator. I have conducted lessons in a variety of settings including individual and group lessons, in primary and high schools, school bands and within the VCE Music curriculum. Preparation for VCE guitar exams is available.
