In Nik's piano lessons, you can expect a combination of classical, contemporary and jazz repertoire. Students will begin with foundational work and alignment, to ensure a strong base of knowledge. This will advance to scales and technical work, which will support the learning of more difficult music. Nik will provide repertoire each week, but is also open to students bringing in their own music.
Absolute beginners can expect to learn basic fingering, scales and preliminary pieces. Nik is also open to teaching chords to beginners, who want to accompany themselves singing or are just playing for fun.
Intermediate students can expect to start at a higher level and have a program created to fit their individual skill set.
Nik's studio is an excellent place to learn piano as it is a fun, comfortable, inspiring environment, both in person and online. Lessons online work beautifully with his professional at home set-up, creating an easy environment for both student and teacher.
