For beginners, students will learn the parts of the flute and how to join them together. They’ll attempt to produce a sound with just the head joint. Once the sound is on its way, students will learn posture before learning how to play notes.

The music I will teach and demonstrate will be a range of styles or categories such as Classical, Nursery Rhymes, Christmas Carols, Disney, Contemporary etc.

For beginners, students will learn the parts of the alto saxophone and how to attach each of them together. They’ll especially learn what size of reeds feels comfortable when playing the instrument. Furthermore, posture will be taught before learning notes. Students will learn a variety of music such as Classical, Nursery Rhymes, Christmas Carols, Jazz, Disney etc.

Students will learn theoretical aspects of music from the grades of 1-5. I will teach them aspects such as note values, clefs, key signatures, time signatures, scales, transposition, harmony, styles etc.

Students will be required to learn flute first with at least a year of practice before attempting piccolo. The principles are exactly the same as flute, however, this instrument is suggestively for reasonably experienced flautists if they want to develop their practical skills.

Students will learn similar principles when learning the piano such as posture. I will be able to teach basic repertoire for students before they decide to find a more advanced keyboard teacher.
