Music Theory Lessons
Students can expect to learn from Primary School level to University level Classical and Jazz Theory. Working from what level they already know and going up through the basics, extending them further. I believe students should learn from me because they will get taught by someone who knows what its like to be in their position so has patience and experience. Along with getting a vast variety of theoretical styles.Show More Show Less

My name is Jordan and I am a musician and have studying Music Performance and Composition throughout my schooling for more than 10 years. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Music Composition at Box Hill Institute. I successfully completed VCE Year 12 Music Performance on the Trumpet and have the skill of a Grade 7 AMEB level Trumpeter.
I've taught children music at my church and have worked with children, youth and elderly on many occasions. I personally love doing volunteer work, and have helped out on multiple kids camps for children from hard homes who have personality disorders. I've worked with and organisation called Meals under the Bridge, where I helped feed the homeless.
So my experience with helping people and connecting is lengthy, I've had to teach english and music to children in Cambodia when I went on a mission trip over there.
My teaching philosophies are simple, I want to make learning enjoyable for my students, I am and will be dedicated to each of my students learning and create safe and comfortable environments for them to learn and flourish in.
I hope you consider me as your teacher :)
