Broadway Singing Lessons

Levels Taught: Beginner, Intermediate

In a Broadway Singing lesson there are many aspects that are very important to cover. Vocal technique, storytelling, confidence and performance are all vital aspects of Broadway Singing that I aim to focus on in my lessons. I am fluent in the language of Musical Theatre and am passionate about translating this into my lessons. Students can expect from my lessons a thorough vocal warm up with a focus on proper technique, followed by confidence building, repertoire development and performance training. My goal is to have my students shining like the true Broadway stars they deserve to be!

Hi there!

Thank you so much for taking time to visit my profile, I am so excited to get singing with you or your child and start learning and having fun!

I am currently studying a Certificate IV in Music Industry (Performance) at Adelaide College of the Arts and have received my Certificate III in the same qualification from the same institution. I have also been accepted into the Bachelor of Musical Theatre at The University of Adelaide’s Elder Conservatorium next year and will be attending this prestigious institution as of 2019.

I have been involved in the arts since a young child and began singing officially at 11 years old. I have much experience in choral and ensemble singing, musical theatre and vocal tuition and I am still very much involved in these activities today. I also have very sound theoretical knowledge of music as I played violin throughout much of my primary and secondary schooling, have completed Stage 2 Music for the SACE and have studied music theory throughout my Certificates, which, I believe is an asset in providing premium tuition to my students.

My teaching philosophy is all about understanding, having confidence and having fun. I believe that once a solid foundation of understanding between student and tutor is built, singing and approaching new pieces to sing become a cake walk! I achieve this by creating an atmosphere in which learning is both effective and enjoyable. I am very enthusiastic about performance and the arts and I believe that shines through in my teaching. I am energetic in my lessons and determined to translate my energy into results for my students. My aim is for my students to sing with confidence, technical know-how and passion.

As a part of my offering I include phone and email support all days of the week, should you have any questions in between lessons. I live in the Flinders Park area and am willing to travel. I am available throughout the week; please see the times when I am available to assist, I will do my utmost to accommodate you into my schedule. I also hold a valid DCSI Check, and valid South Australian Drivers Licence.

I am enthusiastic and readily available, so contact me now to hop on the train to success and start achieving goals today!
