HOW DO I TEACH?
The teaching approach is not only based on enhancing learners' piano techniques, but also developing a life-long influential effect towards music learning. A tailor-made lesson allows students to experience beyond the practical course and aspire them to pursue music as an interest and goal. Theory knowledge would be taught in an interactive way during lessons. Teacher Michelle is able to conduct lessons in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
My music journey started when I was only 5 years old. I can vividly recall how excited I was during my first piano lesson. Music is just amazing. As a saying goes, 'No music, no life; know music, know life'.
Piano is the king of instrument. With black and white keys, you can play a story out on your own way. I intend not only to teach knowledge, but also strengthen the way that you express and appreciate music.
Michelle has been offering high quality tuition to individuals since she first started teaching in Hong Kong in 2013. She has further worked with over 100 students from all ages across different levels and backgrounds.
Michelle has also consolidated many different styles and method of teaching after gaining work experiences in large-scale music schools in Melbourne. Being a life-long learner, Michelle has decided to further undertake the AMusA Degree to broaden her repertoire. This is expected to be completed in the year of 2019 to meet the needs and expectations of the music industry in Australia.
