I am a Registered Music Therapist (RMT, NMT), as well as a Qualified Music Teacher (piano, guitar, ukulele). I have taught private lessons for 8 years around Brisbane, and since completing my Masters in Music Therapy in 2013 I've developed my own business, Rhythm Music Therapy. Prior to completing my Masters, I also completed a Bachelor of Music majoring in piano performance, and a Diploma in Education. It was on placements during the education course that I realised my passion for helping others through music, as I was drawn to those students that seemed to need a little more help and support.

Since working as a teacher and music therapist, I've been fortunate enough to work with many demographics, including aged care, disability and special needs, early education and childcare, mental health and drug and alcohol rehabilitation. I've also worked in music schools, flexi-schools and kindergartens teaching music to students of all ages and backgrounds.

I've completed my A.Mus.A and L.Mus.A piano examinations with Honours, and I also have 14 years of experience playing guitar. In my spare time I enjoy writing my own music and performing in a couple of local bands.

I am committed to providing each individual with a holistic and individualised music experience to ensure that they receive optimal benefits.
