Cassandra aims to provide the highest caliber of music education to students of all ages, so that they may achieve their full potential as musicians. She provides her students with well-rounded musical education, encompassing a variety of styles and methods. Every music lesson is individually tailored to the student's goals and musical endeavours, thus achieving success.
Cassandra teaches students from beginner up to diploma level. Her resources cover repertoire from Classical, Contemporary, Jazz and Pop. Her students receive many awards with Honours (A) and High Distinctions (A+) with the AMEB exams.
Cassandra's studios are clean, safe and she provides a welcoming environment for her students to learn in. Parents are more than welcome to sit in on their child's music lesson.
Term Recitals are also offered as a performance opportunity for all of her students.
Cassandra holds a Bachelor of Music (in advanced performance) and Associate in Music, Australia.
Cassandra holds a wealth of music performance and teaching. Her teaching expertise allows students to strive for their goals with her friendly and supportive teaching approach. She knows the importance of setting the correct technical facility to help make playing effortless and enjoyable. Cassandra's dedication to music education allows her to create a nurturing environment that inspires her students to love music and learning as much as she does.
Her teaching highlights comprise of her students winning eisteddfods at the Redlands Eisteddfod, Gold Coast Eisteddfod, Beenleigh Eisteddfod and MusicFest. Cassandra’s students also received many AMEB Honours and High Distinctions grading awards. She has taught at St Peter's Lutheran College, Sheldon College, Canterbury College and John Paul College.
After graduating from Brisbane State High School, Cassandra received the prestigious Sir Samuel Griffith Academic of Excellence Scholarship to study a Bachelor of Music (Advanced Performance) at the Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University. She graduated as a Griffith Honours College Scholar (Academic Excellence, Leadership and Community Engagement) and attends Professional Development Conferences at AUSTA (Australian Strings Association), holds membership with Griffith Honours Society and Golden Key International Honour Society.
