Whatever your violin goals may be, I can help you towards them!
I've got plenty of experience in prepping for AMEB, ABRSM and even music classroom exams.
I also have an extensive background in improvisation and folk music on the violin, should you be interested in learning something new.
Whatever you would like to achieve just let me know during our first lesson together and we can create a plan together to get to this goal.

My name is Aimee and for as a long as I can remember, music has been an integral part of my life. I grew up playing the viola and harp and later branched out to include the guitar, piano and violin. I then went on to study a Bachelor of Music at The University of London, where I grew as a musician and composer. My passion for education (specifically music) flowered when I moved to Scotland to pursue a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education at the prestigious Moray House, University of Edinburgh.
In terms of my teaching style, I'd say that I'm very traditional when it comes to enforcing productive practice routines and working hard to achieve high results. I do, however, add a modern/fun twist on lessons (especially in the younger years) in order to keep things lively and interesting. For example, a piece would be explored between the student and myself, as we create a narrative behind it through listening and playing together, instead of simply telling the student what to do and them following rigid instructions. Students often compliment me on my ability to make a lessons engaging, whilst also making sure that they focus and achieve their musical goals to the best of their abilities.
In summary, I'm very passionate about music and more importantly, getting OTHERS to discover their passion for the subject! I look forward to hearing from you soon!
