Harmony and Counterpoint Lessons
This course is a sort of continuation of my Music theory classes so at least the intermediate knowledge of music theory is a need!
At the beginner level, you will learn some voice and chord leading, tonal functions and some basic harmony analysis.
At the intermediate level, you shall master this "basic" harmony and learn something about diatonic modulations. At the same time, I will show you historic development of counterpoint and polyphony.
Finally, you will be able to learn "tricky" parts, such are chromatic and enharmonic modulations and Bach-era counterpoint.
At the end, you shall be able to develop your own music ideas, both with homophonic and polyphonic elements.

Music teacher, theorist and analyst with MA and (hopefully really soon) PhD degree.
I was taught piano since I was 7, and I immediately realized that music is my cup of tea.
Decade later, music theory and analysis happened to be my major.
Following high school of music, in a matter of years, I concluded BA (2011) and MA (2012) studies at Faculty of Music in Belgrade, with the highest evaluation and specialization in Music Harmony. In a matter of months, I started my PhD at prestigious University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, Austria. Meanwhile, I also learned opera singing for 6 years. I see my future in the academic world.
I am working as an independent teacher, analyst and researcher. My papers are being presented across the globe and are regularly published.
My teaching expertise includes music lessons for amateurs, pre-academic pupils, as well as undergraduate and MA students.
I live in my hometown, Belgrade, Serbia. I am really passionate about travelling and general history. I also like to be up-to-date about politics and economy. I also love IT (moreover, I have a certificate in PHP programming), and horology (science of clocks and watches).
